I have the best husband in the world ... do you know that?!

he is just wonderful

so full of love and joy

so giving and willing to do

especially during this pregnancy and my random sick days

he is just amazing

especially even after all the long hours he puts in at work

he still comes home with a smile on his face

especially when the house is still a mess and nothing in our path is going right

he still is able to find the light in it all

i found an amazing man

who just loves and adores us

just as much as we love and adore him

and we can't wait to spend eternity together

Boy or girl?

Tommie and I took a trip to the sonogram docs yesterday ... and we found out what we we're having.  It was a little boring (for Tommie) at first because they were needing to measure/check/look at baby and make sure everything was looking good.  Baby was being "hardhead" and decided to turn it's back to us ... baby's face was then facing my back.  so the "testing" and picture taking took a little longer than expected.  so far all the limbs, feet/ankles, head, heart all look good.  She said that baby is a little bigger than average right now ... which Tommie says "Great" and I said " o no ... that has to come out of me" haha ... it's funny how we react a little different to the same news.  : )  we tried to look to see what we were having and she said that baby's legs were closed shut and crossed ... it wasn't going to budge.  But after I moved around a bit and she poked at baby we finally were able to see something ...

We are having a boy!!! 

We are both thrilled and can't wait to meet our little man!

Kekoa had been saying Boy this whole time ... so ofcourse when Tommie told him this morning with the picture proof he said "yeah i know" : )

Now the decorating will begin.  I know what style I want.  I want the room painted tan/camel color ... then I want turtles painted on 2 of the walls ...

I was thinking i'd have just 4 ... but then i could have a nice spread of a few more than four on the 2 walls.  I don't think I want to put the islands on their ... but i would love this turtle look.  And i found a cute rug to go with it as well ...

now our problem is that the room isn't big ... and so I can't have a chair AND bed AND dresser all in there ... so i have to pick between a chair or a bed. 

Chair ... it would be smaller (like a little smaller than a love seat) and I would have room in the room.

Bed ... while I nurse baby i don't want to take baby back to our bed because of it being sooo fluffy, pillows and down comforter PLUS kekoa likes to sleep with us sometimes and "starfish" out all over the bed and Tommie is the biggest cudd-ler ...

We have a lot that still needs to be done ... but i'm just excited to be moving in a direction now!  I can't wait!





For one of my bridal shower gifts I got a Bread Maker!!

And let's just say that I am in LOVE with it!!!  We I tried it out last night and it was amazing!  It took me a minute (since it was my first time ever using it) to figure out how it works and what to do ... blah blah blah ... but after a few minutes of reading the directions it was super easy!!  I put in everything, pushed this and that button and then the machine did the rest!  And then 3 hours later the bread was cooked, done, hot and fresh and ready to be eaten!!  It was soo good!  Who would have thought I would be this excited for homemade bread!  : )
We had it for dinner ... Kekoa is still learning to "appreciate" things.  Where as Tommie is very good being the doting husband and "smelling" my bread and enjoying eating it ... and saying it looked soo good!  : )
I can't wait to try other bread options and see what else I can make.  My little recipe book said that I should be able to make sweet bread, dough, and even jam!!  I'm so excited and can't wait!

Happy Birthday Christo!!  You're technically 21 but offically 5 1/4! 

With your birthday being Feb 29 and there being no 29th this year that's why!

We are so happy and blessed to have you in our lives and have enjoyed having you!

You came to us just a little over 3 years ago and now sadly your mom is here so you'll be moving back and under her care ... but in the mean time let's enjoy the moment and celebrate you!

You have been through much and yet you have always come out on top!  You have such an attitude of worry free and care free that you have gone far in life!  School is going well and almost over ... you have amazing friends and ladies in your life.  You really are amazing

You have been a joy to have in our home and we've been happy to have you and really be part of our family!
